In the Mediterranean Style ........

The styles of the Mediterranean are numerous the influences many.  We have concentrated our efforts on two basic architectural forms.  The Villa style of Florentine Tuscany and the venerable French Mas of Provincial fame.  Each with a Mediterranean charm that owns its character to a unique history and the environment in which they evolved.

The Villa Style is expressed most explicitly in our Villa Di Firenze. Mediterranean VillaA home that took some 10 years to develop and build, including several years of research in Tuscany and many more in acquiring the skills to produce the stone work, wrought iron and fenestration that defines the style. The home is  true celebration of the period with campanile, arcades and classical embellishments.  If you would like to see plans of this lovely Mediterranean House click here to go to the Villa di Firenze Page.  If you would like to read more about the circumstances that created the architecture go to our "Short History of the Italian Villa"

Our original French "Mas" was developed for French nationals who wantMediterranean House Plans-Mased to bring their traditional provincial lifestyle to their summer home in Florida.  The "Mas" having evolved in the heat of the Provincial sun with an emphasis on livable outdoor space was a natural adpatation. After considerable research in the French Rhone Valley, the design developed into a true French Mediterranean Villa with cloistered patio, huge walk-in kitchen and every room assessable to the courtyard.  You can see photos and plans of the Home at "Mas de Provence".  A description of the evolution of the style can be found at "the Mas a Short History" on our website.
